Nduga was found in a shrine at the time of his arrest. He told journalists that he is distressed by the debt burden. 

Kadongo Kamu singer Hassan Nduga has been in the news lately for allegedly failing to pay a debt of 30M. Nduga was arrested this week and detained at Masaka Central Police after running away from Kampala. 

Nduga was found in a shrine at the time of his arrest. He told journalists that he is distressed by the debt burden. 

“My landlord in Kampala is demanding me 2M. I just decided to run away. I have many debts,” he narrated after his arrest.

He said he is unable to pay due to suspension of concerts and performances.
