Legendary Ugandan musician Jose Chameleone was recently discharged from Allina Medical Hospital in Minneapolis after being hospitalized for several days. The singer, whose real name is Joseph Mayanja, had been suffering from stomach complications.
Chameleone thanked the medical staff for their care and said that he was on the road to recovery. He also performed at the Afrofest event in Canada over the weekend, where he delighted the crowd with his energetic performance.
