Justin Bieber can usually do no wrong with his fans, but the pop star has caused upset for some devoted Beliebers.

The Sorry singer is reported to be charging around $2,000 (£1,314) for a special meet-and-greet package on his upcoming Purpose tour and not everyone is happy with the price.

Bieber, 21, embarks on a 58-date tour of North America from 9 March 2016. Several US ticket-selling websites have begun advertising packages, including one titled the Ultimate Purpose Experience, which offer fans the chance to take a selfie with the Canadian singer, a tour backstage and an official tour plaque to take home.

Altitude Tickets is offering this package for $2,000, while the I'll Show You VIP Purpose Experience is priced at $925 and the Where Are You Now VIP Purpose Experience is $375.

Clearly unable to afford the meet-and-greet prices, many of Bieber's young fans have expressed their anger on Twitter, using the hashtag #justiceforbrokelieber.

One wrote: "I'm less excited for the purpose tour because of the prices. They are ridiculous and the meet and greets will flop bye#justiceforbrokelieber."

Another said: "I WANNA EXPERIENCE THIS WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY LIKE A RICH MAN #justiceforbrokeliebers," while yet another chimed in: "Justin: wants people to treat him like a normal person but wants $2000 for a selfie."
