Role Description
The Social Media and Marketing Specialist is a full-time on-site role based in Kampala. The role involves managing and enhancing our online presence through curated social media strategies, creating engaging content, and responding to audience interactions. The specialist will also develop marketing campaigns, track campaign performance, and collaborate with teams to ensure alignment with the hotel's brand. Additional responsibilities include monitoring market trends, optimizing digital ad spend, and fostering community engagement to boost brand awareness and customer loyalty.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Social media management, content creation, and audience engagement skills
- Marketing strategy development, campaign execution, and data analysis skills
- Proficiency in digital advertising, SEO, and social media analytics tools
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to industry trends
- Understanding of hospitality marketing is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred
- Team collaboration experience and a proactive attitude
