Job Summary:
The Information Communications Technology Officer will be responsible for strengthening Simlaw Seeds Company (U) Limited’s ICT systems by implementing and supporting ERP solutions, maintaining secure and efficient ICT infrastructure, and providing user support to ensure digital transformation and operational efficiency across
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implementation of the ICT system.
- Documentation of user requirements.
- Implementation of ICT strategies for effective management of service at all levels.
- Manage the Simlaw Seeds Company Uganda Limited website.
- Manage ICT networks.
- Digitization of records.
- Provide specifications and standards in the procurement of ICT software and equipment
- Undertake daily backups.
- Providing end-user support and training users on effective and efficient use of ICT facilities.
- Support and maintain ICT software, hardware, and network infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain the company CCTV cameras
- Manage the company ERP system and any other company
- Any other duty that will be allocated.
Qualifications
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, ICT Project Management, Computer Engineering, or other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
- Proven ERP system implementation and support experience
- Strong knowledge of database management and Reports.
- Experience in user training and support.
- Documentation skills.
- Proactive in identifying ICT process improvements.
- Fulfilled leadership and integrity requirements.
- Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
