It also operates a boutique hotel, Le Petit Village, a French pastry shop, La Patisserie, and a European cuisine restaurant, Le Chateau Brasserie Belge.

Job Summary:

Sokoni Africa Limited is seeking a charming and professional Hostess for our Fine Dining Restaurant. As a Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your role will involve greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring that all guests feel welcome and valued throughout their visit.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize service flow
• Provide guests with menus and inform them about specials
• Maintain an organized and efficient waiting list during peak times
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure that guests’ needs are met
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a courteous and professional manner
• Ensure the entrance and dining area are clean and inviting

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience as a Hostess in a fine dining restaurant is preferred
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent grooming and presentation standards
• Customer-focused attitude with a passion for hospitality
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
