Kuboresha-Africa Limited (KAL) is a new Regional Organization with headquarters in Uganda and implementing partners in Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Burundi, DRC, Senegal, Malawi ,South Sudan and Liberia, The organization has established a consortium of 10 Community Organizations (CBOs) per district in Uganda focusing on integrated service delivery in community development with a niche in health, climate change, agrifood security, WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) , Communicable and non-communicable diseases, nutrition and sustainable livelihoods. The KAL Consortium structure was established in 2024 with technical guidance from USAID before the Executive Orders of the new Trump Administration. USAID was supposed to fund this consortium. All in all the consortium managed to continue its expansion beyond Uganda. The consortium has recruited an Advisory Board and secured funding opportunities to support implementation in Uganda and other designated countries. Partnerships with priority line Ministries have been secured.

Role Purpose:

Provide overall strategic leadership and technical oversight for all KAL Consortium programs nationwide, ensuring alignment with national policies and donor requirements.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Public Health, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related field.

Minimum 10 years NGO program management experience.

Experience managing multi-donor programs.

  • Lead program design, planning and implementation across sectors.
  • Supervise all program staff and thematic leads.
  • Ensure alignment with government priorities including community health strategies.
  • Lead proposal development and donor engagement.
  • Ensure program quality, impact measurement and reporting.
  • Coordinate district networks and regional implementing partners.
  • Represent KAL in national and international forums.
  • Master’s Degree in Public Health, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years NGO program management experience.
  • Experience managing multi-donor programs.
