Key Responsibilities

1. Visual Content Creation

  • Design graphics, illustrations, infographics, social media visuals, posters, and campaign materials that align with MCI's brand identity
  • Create visual assets for news stories, training materials, reports and community outreach activities

  • Design print and digital collateral for workshops, events, exhibitions, and awareness activities in Karamoja
  • Ensure all designs are culturally appropriate and effectively communicate with local audiences

3. Brand Consistency

  • Apply and maintain MCI's visual identity guidelines across all design outputs
  • Contribute creative ideas to improve the visual presentation of MCI's work in rural and regional contexts

4. Documentation and Asset Management

  • Document local stories and activities through photography and visual recording
  • Organize and maintain a digital library of design assets and visual materials from Karamoja projects
  • Prepare design files for both digital and print production

5. Capacity Building Support

  • Share basic design skills and visual storytelling techniques with young journalists and apprentices during workshops and daily work
  • Provide design feedback and revisions to ensure quality and consistency
