About Organisation:

Savior Microfinance Limited (SML) is a microfinance company that is duly registered in Uganda.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the institution’s digital transformation agenda, including automation of credit, recovery, finance, and operations processes.
  • Support and optimize the Loan Management System (LMS), digital channels, and management reporting tools.
  • Work closely with Credit, Recoveries, Finance, and Operations teams to digitize workflows and improve turnaround time.
  • Develop dashboards, MIS reports, and data analytics to support portfolio quality, recoveries, and decision-making.
  • Support system configuration, product setup, and enhancements in collaboration with vendors.
  • Ensure data integrity, system controls, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Train staff on digital tools, systems usage, and best practices.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend technology-driven solutions to improve efficiency and portfolio performance.
  • Support EOD, EOM, and EOY system processes and reconciliations.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of microfinance operations, credit processes, recoveries, and portfolio management.
  • Proven experience supporting Loan Management Systems (Sure Banker or similar systems is an added advantage).
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; data analytics skills are an added advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
