Job Purpose

To drive the sales of Liberty Life Assurance products through bank branches and other assigned channels. The role holder will be responsible for building strong relationships with bank partners and their customers to identify insurance needs and offer suitable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development: Achieve set sales targets by marketing Liberty's insurance products (life, education, retirement, etc.) to bank customers.

Relationship Management: Maintain a strong presence at the assigned bank branch(es); build rapport with bank tellers, customer service representatives, and branch managers to generate referrals.

Customer Advisory: Meet with potential clients to explain policy benefits, terms, and conditions, ensuring they understand the value of the coverage.

Documentation: Assist clients in completing application forms accurately and ensure all necessary documents (KYC, proposal forms) are collected and submitted.

Compliance: Adhere to the regulations set by the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda and Liberty's internal policies.

Reporting: Provide daily/weekly sales reports and market feedback to the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: A minimum of a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or a Diploma/Degree in a business-related field is an added advantage.

Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in sales, preferably in insurance, banking, or financial services.

Certifications: Possession of COP (Certificate of Proficiency) and CIU qualifications is a significant added advantage.

Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.
