Singer Van Data has finally spoken out on defilement accusations. It had been alleged that Van Data was on the run for defiling a Norwegian girl.
The singer has dismissed the allegations as unfounded. In a post on his Facebook page, he said:
“Media has accused me of having defiled a Norwegian woman which allegedly has led her father to report me and my improper behaviour to the police.
However, these allegations towards me are founded in a series of factual inaccuracies which is ethically disturbing journalism. One example of this, is that the girl in the picture is not Norwegian and a second example is that the legal system in Norway prevents parents from pursuing legal actions on their children’s behalf when the children are above 18 years old.
I am really sorry for the people who have felt the need to create such a disturbing story about me. Media writes a lot of questionable things about me all the time, but this one I found especially disturbing. I sincerely hope they will find their peace and do their public responsibility of spreading truth, honesty and love to their fellow humans.”
