Ugandan rap icon Navio has revealed that he is open to seeing his children follow in his musical footsteps — but only if it aligns with their own passions.
During his Orchestra Comeback concert held on October 4, fans were treated to a heartwarming surprise when one of Navio’s sons joined him on stage for an unexpected performance.
The moment sparked excitement among the crowd and immediately raised questions about whether his children might one day pick up the mantle.
Navio later addressed the topic, saying he fully supports his sons’ freedom to explore their talents.
“People are free to do what they want, and he has the talent,” Navio explained. “They know music because I am a musician, but they also have many other interests like art and mathematics. They are still exploring. If I have a son who is good enough and wants to sing, I will allow him.”
The rapper emphasized that he doesn’t want to pressure his children into music, but he’s more than ready to embrace it if it’s their calling.
