MC Kats has spoken out firmly in defense of singer Fille Mutoni, urging the public to stop making assumptions about her health and appearance. His remarks come after a wave of comments surfaced online, with many netizens speculating about Fille’s wellbeing.
According to Kats, the public is reading too much into things they do not understand.
“Fille is okay. For the rest, just listen to the music. Everything else is none of your business. You have no idea nor do you understand that a couple can live together without one infecting the other.”
He revealed that he had taken time to go through the comments circulating on social media and found many of them “painful and disappointing.”
Kats noted that Ugandans often speak with confidence about matters they have little or no knowledge of, which only fuels unnecessary stigma and misinformation.
He also addressed claims suggesting he had put Fille at risk, clarifying that when their relationship became intimate, Fille was fully aware of his HIV status. Kats emphasized that their bond has always been rooted in honesty, openness, and mutual understanding.
The media personality urged the public to respect their privacy and focus on the music rather than speculating about their personal lives.
