Uganda Breweries Ltd in partnership with Buganda Kingdom has officially launched “Ngule beer”. Ngule beer is made from local products – sorghum, water and cassava.
Uganda Breweries Ltd says the beer will be relatively cheap to the public and will go a long way to uplift the income of their locally sourced suppliers. This is part of their value chain products designed with a cultural aspect to it.
Uganda ranks high in alcohol consumption and is said to be the world’s most drinking country. With the diverse culture, almost all tribes have got a unique cultural beverage.
