King Charles was seen out in public for the first time since Prince Harry’s emotional interview about his desire to “reconcile” with the royal family.

On Sunday, the 76-year-old monarch attended church at his Sandringham estate in Norfolk, where he’s currently spending the weekend.

The King looked relaxed and cheerful as he smiled and waved while being driven in the back of a car.

Dressed in a dark suit, crisp shirt, and patterned tie, Charles added a personal touch with his gold signet ring, a family heirloom previously worn by his uncle, Prince Edward, the Duke of Windsor.

The sighting comes just days after Prince Harry spoke candidly in an interview, discussing his ongoing legal battles and hopes for reconciliation with his family.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, expressed his desire to mend ties, stating: “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight anymore. Life is precious, I don’t know how much longer my father has.”

However, Harry acknowledged that any reconciliation is up to his family, saying: “If they don’t want that, that’s entirely up to them.”

He also addressed the ongoing dispute surrounding his security arrangements in the UK, which have been a source of contention for years. Harry’s legal challenge against the Home Office regarding his security was recently rejected by the Court of Appeal, with three senior judges dismissing his claim that he was being “singled out” for inferior treatment.

In response, Harry shared his concerns with the BBC: “What really worries me is that today’s decision could set a dangerous precedent—one that allows security to control family members, effectively imprisoning them from living the lives they choose.”
